Childrens Birthdays

The following children’s birthday programme is available in English:

The birthday party has an entertaining tour that offers an insight into the everyday life of the imperial family and a secret or two might be revealed. At the end of the tour the birthday girl or boy takes centre stage when it’s time to dress up. They can dress up as Empress Sisi or Emperor Franz Joseph and the guests can dress up as members of the court. The royal party can take pictures and are introduced to the finer points of court ceremony, with the Empress or Emperor taking a seat on the royal throne.

Target group: 8 years upwards

• Group size:  Ideally 12 people, maximal 15 (children and max. 2 adults)
• Times available: Monday-Friday at 2.30pm, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 1.30pm
• Duration: 2.5 hours

Fixed price Mon-Thurs: € 200.00*

Fixed price public holiday, Fri, Sat, Sun: € 240,00*

*Raspberry juice, table decorations and tableware are included in the fixed price. Prices valid until March 31, 2025.

You can bring your own snack. The birthday snack takes place in the snack bars in the Schönbrunn Palace Children’s Museum. Please note that that barrier-free access to this area is not possible. Should you need this facility please contact us at kinder@schoenbrunn.at.

*The fixed price is valid for 11 children. An accompanying adult is free of charge and must stay with group during the programme.

Additional information

• Fix bookings can only be accepted in writing, please send an email with your name, address, and telephone number.
• It is not possible to book a birthday party on the following dates : 24-31 December 2021

• A deposit has to be paid for the children’s birthday party. This payment is to be made around 6 weeks prior to the booked date. The remaining amount is then to be paid on the day of the party, plus for any possible additional persons and reserved snack. Once you have booked you will be sent a down-payment invoice along with the reservation documents.
• Candles may not be lit in the palace rooms because of fire protection regulations. We respectfully remind you that you may not bring your own table decorations.
